Here's another lil' sketchbook entry that really marked a few big steps for me...
I've been trying to get away from my obsessive reliance on my computer, and I am gladly falling back into the habit of doing as much work as possible outside of this infernal machine (so no touchups!)
Also, after like a year of trying sooo hard to loosen up, I'm finally starting to relax a little...this area is a huge struggle for me, and it especially gets in the way of drawing people.
...and I'm finding myself to work faster. Way faster than what I've done before...and I am liking the results, although I don't wanna make speed my priority. But as long as I don't sacrifice attention to detail, it sure wouldn't hurt! :slow:

It's an absolutely wonderful and beautiful illustration. If you illustrated a children's book like this, I would deffinitely buy it and any others you did. You have such a lovely and fun style. :D

I agree with Zephyr.. I think you could get just about any job you wanted as an illustrator.. most especially childrens books by the looks of what you like to do. =).

So great... that cute touch of old, antiquties, and western in your illustations. It have a flavor that is very unique to you... very good! This is very chearfull, it's a good change from all the depressing dark art cralling almost everywhere on DA... not that I have anything against it, but light and chearfull is very good in my book! :D
