Thank you!! I made the sunflowers big so it would kind of feel as if you were a little curious kid approaching this place!

Wow! Bravo, dude! Completely GORGEOUS piece! Yiee.. Where to start! I really love all the curves in everything.. The roof curves the path curves the flowers curve, it's all really on a curvey offset the really gives the house an organic, believable, and welcoming atmosphere (kind of like the hobbit holes, eh?) . I love all the details around the house.. It seems like despite the modern technolgy things thrown about, the inhabitant seems to be a person of nature.. And I always like stuff like that.. ^_^ The coloring is marvellous.. Simple coloring, but that's all you need.. All the spectacularity that makes this pic is in the inking in my opinion, the color is just icing on the cake. Bravo, my friend..

It's very storybook in context and very appealing. I love the quality of the details you've put into it. As I look at it, I'm waiting for the kids to run out the front door. There has to be a story behind this image. This would be so great in a book! I love reading by the way. So I'm stuck on this whole story thing. Don't mind me. Not a lot of artists really devote their time to creating a scenery or background. You've got skills!

Hah its funny you mention hobbits, I felt like I was ripping them off a bit with the big flowers but the bigger inspiration was surprisingly rural illinois (my residence way back in the day,) and of course Illinois looks nothing like this...but I suppose when we were kids we had a tendency to exagerate things in our head, therefor I end up with this really exagerated memory!
